At the inaugural Shepparton Shenanigans at DECA, David "Dinta" Officer's plans of a shakedown for the Philip Island 6 hour ended prematurely when daughter Zoe kissed the armco at the end of the straight with the front of the new(?) tarmac spec Galant.
Initial inspection shows the damage to the grunter 2.6 litre Galant might not be too severe, with hopefully only superficial damage to the front end, but with only 5 weeks 'til the 6 Hour Regularity Relay, it looks like the gravel spec Galant might get a run instead.
Hopefully this little tap of the wall won't dampen Zoe's enthusiasm and we'll see her our on the track again soon (if dad let's her!)
