New committee elected for 2009/2010

At the Annual General Meeting held last night at Zagames, elections were held to determine the office bearers that will carry the club forward to 2010.

Peter Otzen was voted in as the new President, a position Peter has held on numberous occasions.
Peter is the current Clerk of Course of the Akademos Rally hosted by MUCC since 2002, as well as running the MUCC round of the Victorian Motorkhana Championship. Peter is currently in responsible for the Victorian Rally Seeding List. Contact Peter on pmaxotzen@hotmail.com.

Robin Baass will become the new Vice President, a change from his position as Club Secretary in 2008.
Robin is an accredited Steward at the MUCC rallies, and a regular member of the Timing Team. Contact Robin at fm_drake@bigpond.net.au

Darren McKemmish stepped down from President, having held the position for the maximum term of 2 years allowed under the club constituion, and has taken up the role of Club Secretary.
Darren is a regular timekeeper at events including the F1 GP, as well as being the road director for the 2008 Akademos Rally. Contact Darren at drm@bigpond.net.au

Alf Pearce will again take care of the clubs funds, returning in his role as Treasurer.
A former rally driver, Alf can now be found in the timing box as Cheif Timekeeper for a large number of Victorian race meetings. Contact Alf at alfp@unimelb.edu.au

Other members of the committee returning for 2009/2010 are Graham Pate, Brian Fleming, Don Humphries and Tony Dornom, whilst Ros Otzen this year rejoins the committee for the first time in several years.

Mike Seidler will again represent MUCC at the VCRS, and Matt Swan will continue administration of the MUCC website.

The club would like to thank the 2008/9 Committee for their efforts, and look forward to the next year of motorsport.
